Featuring a set of three shades of black ink - hence the K3 denominator - UltraChrome K3 colour and black and white prints display a high level of quality not previously seen from an inkjet printer. Further building on enormous advances made with Epson UltraChrome™ K3 Ink, two new inks — Vivid Magenta and Vivid Light Magenta — utilise a newer high–density form of magenta pigment inks giving it the ability to generate prints using a significantly expanded gamut — especially in blues and magenta — on both Photo and Matte Papers.
