The next generation hi-res, value-based UV printer

The Acuity Advance is the next generation of the highly successful Acuity HD 2504. While retaining many of the leading design features of the Acuity HD2504, the Acuity Advance offers near photographic quality printing at printing speeds up to 22.2m² per hour on a wide range of rigid media up to 48mm thick.

The Acuity Advance flatbed design employs a zoned vacuum table to hold all types of media, including irregularly shaped or uneven surfaced materials. This ensures accurate registration even on multiple passes. It prints edge-to-edge, saving time and labor in finishing.

Manufactured with the view to incorporate both flatbed and roll to roll technologies, the Acuity Advance can be upgraded with a roll media option on both new and existing installations. Printers can meet all of their customers campaign needs including POP, banners, posters, illuminated or rigid signs and much more with this breakthrough technology printing roll media at speeds up to 17.5 m² per hour.

The Acuity Advance incorporates a unique printhead array and imaging technology that enables each print head to produce variable size droplets as opposed to traditional fixed-droplets. The printer’s ability to jet droplets as fine as 6 picoliter produces sharp, precise images with smoother transitions and half-tones; while jetting larger droplets up to 42 picoliter delivers denser, more uniform solid image areas. The result is image quality usually seen at resolutions of 1,200 dpi or higher…while using up to 25% less ink.

The Acuity Advance print performance is optimized by Fujifilm Sericol’s uniquely formulated Uvijet inks. Uvijet’s patented Micro-V dispersion technology delivers wide adhesion, vibrancy and durability in every print. While the standard colour set of the Acuity Advance is four colour CMYK, an optional 5 colour configuration is available including white ink. The Acuity Advance with Uvijet's exceptional white ink opacity makes this a highly adaptable system for the display printer producing a range of close viewing point-of-sale materials, external displays, backlit/frontlit displays and graphics.
